NHL doesnt want Flyers in playoffs---Flyers today 3pm

So the flyers are down 3-2 in the series. They clearly where out played in game one. In game two they could of won. The game went into overtime and after the flyers suffered 2 shit penalties. Pitt went on a 2-man advantage. They scored won the game and went up 2-0 in the series. The flyers should of won the game. They out played the penguins and still lost. In game 3 they came back at home and smoked pitt. With the series at 2-1 the flyers played at home again. Again they lose a game they should of won. One of the penguins 2 goals, was one of the chincest i have ever seen. Crosby drives himself and the puck into Biron for a gimmie goal. If that was anyone on the Flyers that would of been taken away. Since it was the NHL's golden boy it was allowed. Then the Flyers come back get a goal. They are still down 2-1 when Briere scores a goal that was about a foot past the line. Then the refs come in and take it away. With that the Flyers lose again and game 4 is given to the penguins. If it wasn't for the unbelievable play by Marc-Andre Fleury who stopped 47 shots and the refs the flyers could of won. The never say die Flyers blast pitt in game 5 for a 3-0 win to force a game 6. Now back at home today the momentum has shifted back to Philly. Watch today if the Flyers give the refs any chance to take the game out of their hands they will. If the Flyers can play clean and hustle all game. Get a few past Fleury and Biron doesn't give up any easy goals, they have a great chance of taking the series to 7 games. I am a Flyers fan. First off the way they where playing going into the playoffs. I thought they get smoked in 4 games. They where playing lazy and just did not seem hungry. I also think that Marty Biron was the one player on the team that needed to step up. They will only go as far as he brings them. He gives up to many easy goals. Also the Flyers defense plays horrible some nights. Allowing teams to get 40 or more shots on goal. With a guy like Biron in net, that can't happen. The other big thing that hurts the Flyers is there passing game. It is down right horrible at times. They turn the puck over to many times because of shit passing. I commend the Penguins for some great passing that sets up quality shots. If you watch today the pens passing game is head and shoulders better then the Flyers. Yes the Flyers are a hitting team. They are not the BROAD STREET BULLIES anymore. That was the 70's the NHL needs to give it up. They clearly have a bone to pick with the Flyers still. I dont know if some of the people running the league now played against that team. Maybe one of the guys got beat up a few times from the Hammer. Bobby Clark, Dave Shultz and the rest of the broad street bullies are all retired. Im sick of hearing about it. I am 30 years old and i wasn't alive for any of there games. Lets put it in the past and make way for a new era where all teams are given a fair shot. Hopefully today the refs can get crosby and malkins dicks out of their mouths long enough to not make shit calls. I have no problem with the Flyers playing hard and loosing to a better team. As long as games are not taken away from them. In my opinion the Penguins are a better team all around. The goal tending is better and they have 2 of the fiercest lines in the league. When your team is so good that Crosby starts on the second line. Your are a force on the ice. I think that hockey is a game of not only skill and talent. It's also about luck and momentum. Any team in the league that has decent goal scorers and a good goalie. With a little luck and the momentum behind them they could beat the best teams in the league. Any team could win the cup this year. On paper it looks like cup city detroit will be holding it up at the end again. Clearly it is more profitable for the NHL to have the leagues big stars Crosby and Malkin in the finals again. If they can forget the 70's and just let the players play. I think with the way things are going the Flyers could steal the series from Pitt. That would take great goal tending on their end, And some lucky bounces. My prediction is that the series gets tied up today. It goes to game 7, huge for NHL. Will be on of the biggest games of the playoffs. With some sloppy plays that gives the refs the opportunity to take the game away. And the sloppy play by the Flyers goal tending. I think The Penguins win 4-3 in a shoot out to advance. So with a little help from their friends the refs the penguins go onto the finals again. My heart is with the Flyers. My heart tells me the Flyers win the cup and the Flyers are a better team then most in the playoffs. Of course i want them to win and it took alot for me to say that pitt will win in 7. If the Flyers play to their potential and the refs dont fuck them. They could win in 7.

WAHHHHH.. spoken like a true Flyers fan my friend. you guys will never realize that they bring nothing to the table to make them better. they get completely out-skated in the playoffs vs the penguins in 2008 playoffs and do little if anything to speed up the team in 2009. their reward... they get the pens in the first round and get tossed immediately rather than doing the usual dance around the joke of the 1st round (or 2 in last years case) of lower echelon teams that get to to waltz into the pathetic 50% of the post season team.
the only thing more laughable than the NHL playoff system.. who doesn't love a June hockey game... is the delusional Philadelphia fans like you that hold onto a team that hasn't won a cup since you were sperm. i love you paul and we here at SportsBlog ADORE your passion for Football.. love you mock draft... some great calls... but please-- as your friend-- i am begging you to let go of the flyers.
